is the discharge i am having normal?

Hi ladies this is my third pregnancy (my first i m/c and my second i had a beautiful baby girl born this past June all of which we did IVF.  So i am 6w5d and had a vaginal ultrasound on tuesday.  Since thursday i have been having a little brownish discharge.   Do you think it is just from the ultrasound?  I get so nervous after having had a m/c i won't stop worrying until 12 weeks.  Any advice

sex and u/s can irritate the cervix and cause some brown/pink spotting. Like Pips said - brown is fine. with my last pregnancy, my discharge was so heavy (no infections or anything) that I change my panties through the day.  i was told this is a normal preg thing...ewww

Sorry ... don't know much about ivf, but I do know that brown is better ... it means old blood.  When it's red is when you really need to be concerned.  I have also heard of the cervix being irritated by the early ultrasound.  I would call your doctor to be sure though.

Hey we are in the same boat...

I saw a faint pinkish/brownish watery discharge twice on my wipe yesterday!! I am 6 +4 weeks post IVF and on Progesterone shots...did this happen to anyone else? I really hope this is just my paranoia and everything is fine!! I didnt have any US yet.
Even I will be worrying until I am 12 weeks. Is this pregnancy of yours also with IVF?
