Half way there already?

Holy crow! I'm already 19 weeks! Starting to finally share the news with my work, not sure how that's going to go over, I'm new and you have to work there a certain amount of time before you can get a leave of absence otherwise you have to quit...

I think it may just be leave without pay and the company doesn't have to hold your job for.  Talk to your HR department. Good luck

We have to work there for a certain amount of time before we are allowed any type of leave of absence, but I sill have a few months till I need it, so fingers crossed

You have to quit? I don't see how that's legal! If it is legal, it shouldn't be. I live in california and I know pregnancy falls under the category of a disability, and is covered by the disability act, which does not allow employers to terminate employment due to pregnancy. That really stinks, hopefully they will work with you!
