Membrane sweep

Today I had a membrane sweep and they told me I may have spotting and cramps but I've been getting extreme back aches and cramps that make it hard to move at all is this normal?

Yeah its supposed to but it only works for 1 in 9 people

Isn't it supposed to jump start labor. If so then you are on the right track with the symptoms

Im 39+4 but it all depends on the doctor some offer to do it like mine did to try and prevent me from going over my due date but you usually have to be dilated

How far are you to get membrane sweep?

Its like a normal pelvic exam but they try and seperat the membranes from the cervix to release hormones and its slightly uncomfortable
