36w1d Over working but have to. Any words of encouragement?

It's 5:30am and I am just so tired still. I couldn't even help my daughter with her homework last night because I was so exhausted after working all day. It's the same routine everyday. Yesterday I fell at work and I really don't want to go back. I feel like I pulled something in my back and stomach. My husband keeps making me work though so I don't really have a choice, any words of encouragement to get me through these last 4 weeks? Thanks

Thank you. I will call my doctor to see if they want me to come in or not. I took off today and told my boss why so she's aware. I am an office assistant at a car dealership. I have to get up from my desk alot and grab things for sales people or service people.  And my is on this platform so I tripped on the corner trying to get up there.

I feel your fatigue, hun.  I'm 37 and 5, and am an instructor in the Navy.  I've been on my feet everyday, walking back and forth between the desks and just constantly moving.  I feel bad because I'm super irritable and have yelled at my students (grown *** men and women, but still), but I can't take off because I'm the system matter expert at my command.  Luckily, my husband is super worried about me walking around in boots all day and stressing out my mind and body, so he has really stepped up with dinner and chores around the house, but by the end of the day I have pulled nearly 5 miles of total walking (I keep a step counter haha).  To help keep myself from getting down or too frustrated with the situation, I just make jokes about breaking water during class, and my Chiefs make jokes about being ready to deliver in the office.  It actually gets pretty funny in the office with my coworkers, and it helps alot.  Laugh, make jokes, and remember you're almost done and will have some home time soon, with someone to love from the deepest part of your soul.  Get your husband to help out on your off hours for now, and I hope everything comes back from the doc about that fall.  Good luck babes, and make sure to laugh at least 7 times through the day!

You should go get checked any time you fall, especially if something doesn't feel right. I fell yesterday (just onto my knee) and went to the hospital to get checked just because I was being a nervous Nelly! They told me it was the right thing to do to get checked because even if the baby is moving, a fall could affect the placenta or put you into labor (it almost did for me- I was having contractions 1-2 minutes apart, but wasn't dilating).

With that being said, I'm still working as well (I'm a high school special ed teacher, and at 38+4 weeks). I definitely get the tired feelings and not wanting to go to work! I just keep telling myself that all of these days are ones that I will be able to spend with my baby boy once he's here, and although I'm uncomfortable now, that won't compare with the feeling of having to leave him to go to work! So it's worth saving your days until after baby arrives :)
