Bleeding at 6 weeks.

I will be six weeks tomorrow. Just today I went to the bathroom and found a small amount of blood on my underwear. I wiped and there was fresh on the toilet paper. I put a pad on and went on my way. I went back and checked and I had bled more, but not a lot. I just got home and I haven't bled any more, just dark blood when I wipe. Has anyone else experienced this? I feel I'm okay, but I am of course still nervous.

Hi, same thing happened to me recently. The doctor gave me a jab to strengthen my womb. Perhaps you may want to consider that?
Just to share my experience, I had bleeding in my first pregnancy, had no jab and I miscarried. I hope all goes well for you!

Thank you. Please let me know if you find out anything. My bleeding has stopped, and I haven't had any brown bleeding either. I'm hoping it was just old blood.

If you start bleeding again along with cramps I'd go to the ER. Better safe than sorry. If not then wait till Monday to see your doc.

I have had cramps since before and after I found out I was pregnant. But never bleeding. So far I haven't bled since my post.

April,
Spotting can be very normal. However, I would err on the side of caution and call the doctor on Monday when they open. In the meantime, if it gets worse or you start to have cramps, call your on call nurse. Just my thoughts :)
