My eating habits is poor. I need to improve on it. And food which I used to love eating before pregnancy am not liking it now eg- chicken. I don't take milk products too. However I have started having banana milkshake.. My next review is on 27th. Will check my weight again.
I am 14wks and have always been slightly underweight. My midwife referred me to consultant and dietician. She said the baby will take what it needs and it's my health that is the bigger concern re:weight. I'm keeping a food diary which makes me think about what else I need to eat each day. Also trying smoothies and liking it. Not really gaining weight yet though! Talk to your Dr about it :)
Folic acid is a must! It helps prevent neural tube defects and is an essential part of every prenatal. The rest of the things baby needs, it will leach out of mom.
Maybe try smoothies and yogurts - help with calories and goes down easy if your not a big food person. Proteins are really good too- chicken, peanut butter, etc and can be calorie dense to help gain a little. You've got this!I bet as u get farther along you'll start to have food cravings:)
Just make sure you're taking your vitamins, and getting as much protein and water as possible. And baby will be fine :)
As Per my BMI am underweight by 8kgs. It's too much. I spoke to my doctor and was told that after 3 months of pregnancy will eventually gain weight. And till now I can't find any difference. The problem is with my diet too. Am a poor eater.
Ive always been underweight especially for my height. I haven't gain much of nothing really. My hips spreaded nd that was it. But talk to a nutritionist if ur still concerned. My one told me i had to gain a pound every week. Thats gone be hard bc my weight fluctuates. But long as you and the baby is healthy is all that matters
I'm 13weeks I've always been underweight I'm also having issues gaining weight I eat like a big bear now but don't gain any pounds.
I'm 12 weeks and haven't gained anything yet.
