I had the heart burn early, and it would get so bad I'd get a headache from it.  Smaller portions helped some, but when it goes down I do the old baking soda trick.  Luke warm water, maybe a cup and a half, mixed with a tsp of baking soda.  Drink in two or three gulps, get it down quick, and within 2-5 minutes, you'll pull one good deep burp, and the pain will be gone.  Has worked everytime for me, and I only ever have to do it once.

Try eating smaller meals of foods that aren't spicy or acidic then make sure you sit up for a while after eating. Also like Ava said, raising your head and chest while sleeping will help as well :)

You need to sleep sitting down. Put a lot of pillows behind you and you'll have to sleep that way until you give birth. That is what helped me. Hope it helps you ladies:)

Sounds like severe heartburn, which can cause pain everywhere above your stomach to the point where it feels like your lungs and throat have been doused in acid. The muscle between your stomach and esophagus becomes weakened from the hormones in the third trimester so it's rather common and very painful :(
