Rant: Early labor

So I started having contractions this morning around 4 am. They were far apart and I was able to go back to sleep in between. Around 8 they start to get more intense and we're about 7 minutes apart. I had my husband call the doctor while I took a shower to see if it helped. They wanted me to come in so we did. We get to the room and they check me and I've gone from 2cm to 4 cm since my doctor appointment yesterday. The entire time I'm still having contractions and some mild bleeding. They decided it was still early and sent me home. The nurse said since you went from a 2 to 4 so quickly, you'll probably end up being back tonight. In the past when my sisters were pregnant they would keep you at 4? Not sure when or why this changed but I am more than ready to have my baby girl here.

Ladies, I totally feel you on this because my contractions are back and forth, left and right. I'm ready for my baby to come out as well (currently 37wks+4). I think I am still going through Braxton Hicks though because they don't hurt to the extreme yet. And most of that pressure is from baby bulging a lot, plus it hurts mostly when I lay on my sides instead of standing. Good luck and praying for you ladies for safe delivery!
