Thought today was the day! And lesson to be learned...

I fell heading out to my car this morning and landed on my knee (not my belly and didn't hit my head). I dropped my stepson off at daycare and was going to go in to work, but my back was bothering me a bit and I started to get all weepy and nervous, even though my baby boy was moving around a ton. I went to the ER, and from there they sent me to labor and delivery. For about two hours this afternoon, my contractions were coming in strong and 1-2 minutes apart, but unfortunately I didn't dilate any more! :( By about midnight, my contractions had really slowed down and still no more dilation, so we fed to come home instead of waiting until morning.

Moral of the story: If you fall, even if you don't hit your belly or your head, go get checked out! You don't know how the jarring can impact baby, placenta, or labor!
