anxious 16wks

Maybe it's the approaching anatomy scan but I've all of a sudden become very anxious and stressed about the possibilities of birth abnormalities even low my chances scientifically are very low (less than .05%).
Is this normal? I feel like I'm more stressed about it than I should be.

I've already had my genetic abnormalities test. What does this one test for?

I'm glad to know I'm not alone in feeling this way. I'm sure everything will be fine for all of us, just mommy nerves.

I'm 16 weeks as well and have my anatomy scan coming up in just under 3 weeks. I'm right there with you on being nervous, especially since I've been unable to tolerate every prenatal and regular vitamin they've thrown at me. Hopefully all the healthy eating pays off! Time for us to think positively :)

Hi. Congrats on your pregnancy firstly.
I think everyone feels anxious at some stage or another, it shows you care.
I had my blood tests 2weeks ago to check for the various abnormalities, and have not heard anything, so I am also a bit anxious.
There is really not much we can do at this stage, but try to relax and think positive thoughts, also take good care of you and your baby!
God bless.
