I'm Stressing, depressed & having very bad anxiety

Well first I'm 24 on my 3rd child. I already have 2 little girls & im having my son November 15th. During my 2nd trimester my OB put me on antidepressant pills. But they still not working. It's making me feel even worse. Some days are better then others. But today I feel so depressed & having anxiety attacks. Now I'm feeling like I just want to hurt myself but don't want my kids taking away from me. I'm so lost during this pregnancy idk what to do.

Please stop taking the pills and push prayer til this passes. Confide in a friend or family in whom you trust. If your anything like me then it may not be anybody. But find a mirror and encourage yourself. I had to do this many times during my pregnancy . I'll be 33 weeks on tomorrow. I found myself helping and encouraging others who wouldn't dare be in my corner in times like this. So by the grace of God my mercy comes from me giving myself that same encouragement  and advice that I was giving to others and not seeing that I was about to drown in my own horrible thoughts. So please no pills jus prayers. AND THE IDEA WITH THE BOX SOUNDS VERU ASSURING. LOL THANKS I'M GONE TRY IT. ANYWAY BLESSING TO ALL.

My mom has a God box, and she writes down feelings or needs and puts them in the box and leaves them to God. It's a great  to relieve your mind of worries.

i struggle with depression every now and then in my life, and in the third trimester with all of the hormones changing again, there have been days where i feel ao sad. But what helps me is knowing that that is not ME that is the imbalance if hormones surging through my body. I try to write 3 things i am thankful for every night before i go to sleep and if i am depressed, i allow myself to cry because crying is natural and can sometimes make you feel really good afterward. Don't feel guilty about the feelings you are having but know that they are not who you truly are. They are a cloud that will go away as circumstances change in your life. Let your doctor know the pills are making things worse!

Thanks a lot for the encouragement. But I've told my dr. The pills are making things worse so she up the dose to 50mg a day. Things are NOT getting better. But I stop taking them. & I have my days but I'm fine.

I would suggest you continue to seek for help with a doctor maybe have them refer you to a counselor. Especially if your having thoughts of hurting yourself. You need to help yourself to help your little ones. Please seek for attention. There is help out there and someone else can help put things into perspective and this will also help relieve anxiety. Let me know how it works out!

Sending you prayers and positive energy.

My mother was a single mother of 3 girls. My dad stole everything of value from our house and left us with nothing. She had no idea what to do. Her elderly friend told her to start a God box and to this day she still uses it and everything she has ever put on the box has resolved itself. Now, all 3 of us (her daughters) do the same. You can look up a prayer that goes with the God box:)
