Dr. Appt today went good

I went to see my doctor today. I will be 34 weeks tomorrow and I am dialated 2 cm. My doctor said that if I were to go to the hospital with contractions that were 10 min. apart or less then he would put me in the hospital and let me have my baby girl. I am so excited and ready for her to come. I am going to try to make it atleast 1 more week so maybe she will weigh enough to come home with me. But I keep dialating everytime I go to the doctors office. So things maybe coming on sooner than I thought. I have been having contractions and pressure but today I have had more cramps than anything. I will try to keep everyone posted on what is going on. We don't have too much longer ladies!

I have been getting checked every week or two since I was 26 weeks since I had the pre-term labor. I was dialated 1 cm then and have only changed in the last 3 weeks. But I will be checked everythime I go until I have her since I am dialated 2 cm. I go to the doctor tomorrow, so I will update then.

Lucky you!!  I have no idea if I am dilated or thinned out.  Our docs don't do just random checks.  I have to do the strep next in 3 weeks and they will probably check me then.  I am ready for my baby girl too!!

I was dialated 1.5 cm two weeks ago. So I changed 1/2 cm in two weeks but thing seem to be speeding up. My doctor did not say anything about being effaced but at 26 weeks I was 50% effaced. So I don't know what I am now. My doctor almost sent me to L&D yesterday to see how regular my contractions were but then decided not to he just said that I had contractions that were 10 min apart to go to the hospital then I would probably have her that day or the next. So I am really excited. good luck to all of you!

I have my appt tomorrow, we'll see what he says.  But over the last week I've been have PMS type cramps that stay on for like 15-30min.  There is no consistency when they come on, usually 3-4 times a day.  I spoke to the doctor over the phone and he says as long as it stays this way I shouldn't worry.  I've also noticed diferent pinching and poking sensations somewhere down there.  So I'm really interested to see what they say tomorrow.
I'll be 34 weeks on Monday w/ twins.

Glad your appointment went well ... wow 2cm, looks like you're on your way! I hope you hang on another week! I'm in the same boat, I'm hoping to hang on to 37 weeks (I'm 35 now) but I have had cramps and pressure and the last time I was checked I was 50% effaced but not dilating. Good luck!

hi there the last time you were at the doctors office were you dialated at all???like 1cm or something???and this time you were 2cm??are you effaced at all? im hoping for an early baby and not late baby also. im as of today 1cm and 95% effaced the last time i was checked i was not even close to being dialated that when they tried to check it made me bleed cuz they tried so hard, and of course it hurt, it wasnt just like spotting it was red blood.tmi sorry. so im curious about you and your dialation maybe ill start to open up some more everytime i go in....yay for us and ill be praying you go soon but make it at least one more week...
