lol we're getting married in march, but we're taking the honeymoon at tax time ;)
alex walks the couch too, and today he took a step, and faceplanted...oh how i wish we lived on the 2nd story haha! wood doesnt hurt nearly as much as concrete!
i started giving him the yogurt bite things, for crawlers, and man he loves those! he also eats these zesty tomato flavored cheeto looking things(idk name offhand), and has a set meal schedule with snacks ;) he goes to bed around 9, wakes up around 8, and takes a 2 hour nap after lunch(noon to 2)...he's still got his "chicken pox" from banging himself on everything though! and his knees, nearly stay black...oh and he loves sitting on the floor, and pushin his bedroom door closed. i have a pair of shorts over the top of it so it doesn't click shut, but he'll grab it and open it back up, then close it again..i bought him 1 of those push/ride toys, it's a push toy, and the handle changes to make it a riding toy? and also this little dance station thingy. it has 3 settings, floor, knees, feet. and rather than even bother with the shorter settings, i put it on the stand up setting, to encourage him to stand on something besides me and the couch lol...
oh and if a movie goes off, he goes to the entertainment center, and will stand there holding on, while the words go by...he doesn't watch tv, but when the movie goes off, he watches the credits lol..."my kid doesn't watch tv, he's learning to read"! heehee, that's what i tell everyone!
hi ladies,
it's amazing to hear how all the kids are doing!!! Sarah is doing well, crawling all over the place half the time, she pulls herself up and walks the couch.
We are getting ready for the wedding and the "vacation" honeymoon, i guess you cant call it a honey moon when you take your kids and one of thier friends LOL
She still eats like a bird, but at least now we have been able to wean her off the iron supplements. she is eating 2 tbsp a day of rice. and she still only drinks 4 oz of formula at a time. but she is growing tall and she is healty so we are not worried
talk to you all soon
love
karen
Aiden just figured out how to roll back to his back, he figured out how to move around on the floor, but not crawl yet. He has his 2 bottom teeth and the top ones just cut through.
lol how cool taz! yea alex crawls all over everything! a babygate locks the kitchen from him, and he has a "trail" he can follow...LR to his room, through the hallway, and he loves it! he crawls all over the couch, and i had to quit letting him nap with me, i awoke the other day, to him dangling off the edge of the bed WHOA! if he hadn't kicked me in the nawnie(privates), he'd have fell off!
i havent tried the push thingy, but when we're at our friends house, he can more than run around in his walker!
as for bruises, omg! he looks likes he's got a strange form of chicken pox on his forehead lol, and his knees!
weston is 7.5 months now (will be 8 on june 15th) he crawls, pulls up, walks behind a push toy thingy (idk what to call it) he LOVES his "crane truck" and tractors that daddy got for him - because daddies know what boys like - anyway, he gets into anything and EVERYTHING!!! he has had amny bruises on his forehead and i'm sure will have many more. he is definitely a climber - he loves climbing over pillows on the floor.
he eats ceral and fruit around lunchtime and then veggies, meat, and fruit for supper and juice in a cup - and he loves the teething biscuits - he just got his first tooth a week ago, so its not all the way thru yet.
oh how time flies when you're having fun!!!! hope all of you are doing well and that your pumpkins are happy and healthy :)
