26wks question about kicking

Hiya,
My friend and also my 1/2 sister are due within one day from me and they both report that they feel the baby kick all over the place, top of belly etc...   I've only ever felt her kick below my belly button line or even with it.  Is that normal or has everyone's baby "moved up" so you're feeling kicks everywhere?

It really just depends on many different things. I wouldn't worry about it!

Thanks :)

I know on my last ultrasound it showed, low placenta, and baby was transverse and / or breech so maybe she doesn't do the other positions yet.

I'm having a 3d ultrasound on Saturday so maybe I'll find out an update regarding position.

Regards,
Joanne

I was having the same concern.  i know when I was pregnant with my first son he was all over the  place, mostly up top.  I know he was head down from like 22 weeks on and was very surprised to feel kicking in the rib area at that point.  this one seems to still be transverse and I feel him so so low!  I consider myself lucky to feel anything even near my belly button.  it is almost like he is still below the pubic bone.  He seems to be healthy and growing though.  just found a comfy place for now.

i am 26 wks this week, i started feeling kick finally a few weeks ago. now i feel them all the time. most of the time though they are pretty low, at or below the belly button.  but not as a rule, i think it just has to do with the postion of the baby, ie up down etc.

Hi I am 25 weeks today and only have ever felt kicks below the belly button (although I have felt them move 'slightly' higher over the last few weeks) but I wouldn't worry too much. I think its position too of the baby - my baby seems to be always tucked down at the narrowest part of the uterus - which the doc said is quite normal.
Don't worry at least its kicking! :)

all the best
