3 cm dilated @ 34 weeks
I am home now, but contracting away. I'm a little worried about the baby, but the doctor says everything will be fine if the baby is born this early. They won't try to stop the labor! :(

If baby was born now, he would have a great chance. Did your doc give you the steroid shots to mature the lungs? I was 1cm at 28 weeks and then at 32weeks I was 4cm and I went to the hospital to stop labor. I am now 35 weeks and still hanging in there but on strict bedrest. I have had 2 sets of steroid shots and I'm on meds to stop the contractions. Once I get to 36 weeks (sept 1st) baby can come anytime! You should be on bedrest for now and not do much of anything to see if it will slow the labor process. I wish you the best and just know, your baby would most likely be just fine if born now. some babies need to be in NICU a little bit longer, but also babies born this early have been able to breathe just fine on their own. I am praying for you. Be strong!!
how far along are you? my sister just had her little girl 4 weeks early and she is perfectly healthy weighing in at 7.4 and 19in long!

hey hun try not to worry to much a friend of mine had her baby really early at about 27-28 weeks he was still really hairy when he came out bless him he looked like a monkey he only weighd 1lb something and hes doing fine hes a fine lil boy . i'm sure your lil princess will be fine and you will be to good luck x let me know how things go if you do have her early . i'll be thinking of you both :) x
Tanker Chic just had her baby at 34 weeks I think yesterday. I would message her becuase I think her son is doing well. I'll pray for you and your baby. I think though at 34 weeks the baby should be fine probably they will give you shots for the lungs.
