Guess What??? It's Twins!!!

Question

I had my first sonogram today and thought I was 5 weeks but it turns out I am 6 weeks and 1 day. I heard the heartbeats of both babies. God is an Awesome God.

I understand what you going through. I stop worrying and believe in God that everything will work out for the good. Worrying is not good for the pregnancy. When I find myself in a rut or about to worry, I write in my prayer journal or read a scripture to motivate me. The baby or babies will be just fine. Just trust!

hi first off congrats.. but now i have a question for you.. i am 5w 2d today and around 7 weeks i really want to have a sonogram (actually as soon as possible ) because in the last ten months i have had two misscarriges and i really want to hear that heartbeat just so that i stop worring so much... how can i get one like i asked my doc but she said that there was no reason for me to get one right now in my second trimester then i can get one......

Congrats!!!!!  That is awesome!!!!  God is Great!  We only saw one heart beat on my 2 ultrasounds so far.....Congrats!!  Keep us posted on you!  I think twins are a blessing!

Congrats on the twins.  I go for my transfer on Friday they said that 5 out of 9 fertilized. How many fertilized did you have and how many did they transfer.  I pray everyday and all day that things wll go as planned.  I will keep you posted and you do the same.  I had to hunt you down, I thought that you forgot all about me.  Thanks for all of your support and once again Congrats!!

April_baby: My HCG was 107094!!!! at 4wks!!! I'm absolutely positive I'm not further along than that....so maybe it was a mistake....

sphillip: I kinda had a feeling it would be twins because on first blood draw my HCG was 179, which was on a Friday. Then my doctor's office withdrew my blood again on the following Monday and it shot up to 679. Then I google HCG numbers (I think I was 12 dpo) . And one website said for the highest for twins on day 12, was 560 something......well I was at 679.

That is so exciting! I'm very happy for you! I'm curious if I might be in your same position. I have had some signs that I might be carrying more than one but I won't know until my u/s on the 24th. I was wondering if you had your HCG tested or anything that would have given you an idea. I guess I'm asking if it was a surprise for you and why or why not. Again, congrats! and here's to a healthy 9 whole months!!

Oh WOW!!! How exciting! I'm so happy for you!! God is an Awesome God! =) 
I can't wait to hear my baby's heartbeat or see it! I have to wait until the end of March. 
Twins run in my family....so I always wonder if I will have twins one time or not. Awww..I'm happy for you!
