Having 2nd u/s tomorrow!

Hello Ladies!  Hope everyone is doing well.  Well I am officially 8 weeks along today, and will be doing a 2nd u/s tomorrow.  I am excited yet nervous.  My first ultrasound the heartbeat was 109 and the RE said that they usually look for 100 being that it was so early (4wks), so that was exciting.  Just can't wait to see and hear my baby.  :~)

kgokgo:  I was able to because I went through IVF treatment and they are able to pin point exact dates and know approximately when the heart starts beating, but I CAN be heard that early, with the right equipment and training.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!  I am due October 5th.  The babies heartbeat was 174 bpm!!!!  We were so excited to see and hear this.  I will post a picture as soon as I get home(I'm at mom's house right now.).  I am 8 wks and 1 day, but the baby is measuring 8wks and 3 days. (it is always to be a little higher than average when it's this early.)

Good luck for tomorrow. You got a heartbeat at 4 weeks? I bet that was so reassuring. I'm almost 6 weeks and am hoping to go to the Dr next week. All the best.

Welcome and good luck!!! Post a picture if you are able, too. When is your due date? I'm guessing October 13th or around there?
