Fetal Echo & Level II Ultrasound Yesterday

Had those ultrasounds today (19w2d), don't have the official report but the Doctor verbally told me that everything looked good with the baby, abdomen was measuring normally for age.  Heart looked good etc..

The only potential problem was low lying placenta but he said that probably will move on its own and they'll want to do another scan at 32 weeks to confirm that it has moved (or not, if not c-section will be the plan I guess).

Joanne (39)

Diag GD 14wks, pre-diabetic for 3 years prior to pregnancy

On insulin since 16wks (nr & nph), results of quad screen for downs was 1:450, neural tube 1:5340. Ultrasound didn't show any particular markers for downs or anything else according to the doc (yay).

My ob was already leaning towards a c-section anyway because of other issues so I'd already got used to the idea from week 10, we'll just have to see how it goes.

C-sections are so bad.  I had one and will have another one in October.  I am glad the baby is healthy.
