I feel little bumps on my breasts

At times I'll feel something weird on my breasts and when I go to rub it I feel little bumps on my brests(around my nipple). When I rub it, it seems to go away but then it'll return later on in the day. Is that just my breast getting ready to produce milk? Does anyone else have this experience????

I think they're called Montgomery something or other. They are normal. They produce oils to keep your aereola and nips moisturized.

I really didn't feel anything when my milk started...I just noticed I had leaked a tiny bit and when I would squeeze it, a little bit of clear milk would come out. Usually it happens somwhere around 16 weeks, but it is different for everyone.

(Sorry about my typos in the last paragraph! Not paying attention. lol)

Hi there - I don't have any bumps, but the skin around my nipples and on my breasts are peeling.  My nips are so tender and I think they're still growing.

I haven't had a baby before, so I'm not sure what the milk production feels like... Anyone else?

I think I have the same thing you are decribing. Are they almost like little skin tags? But they disappear and come back? I'm sure it's just our bodies preparing for things. I know I didn't start producing milk with my son until 16 weeks. But it could be getting ready...and plus I am still nursing twice a day, so I wonder if my milk will dry up when he is completely done nursing and start the process start all over again?...whenever that may be! lol.
