yes i had this with my 1st pregnancy, much earlier than the books say it happens. i had been putting cream on belly and boobs for stretch marks and in morning was mad because my nipples looked really dry. then i saw this strange dry skin on my arm, and realised it was dried breast milk - must have been a lot. i was proud of my body because i really wanted to breast feed. i can still squeeze some out now and i havent breast fed since march 07. so this pregnancy i have had it all way through.
It's normal!
It happens for some women and doesn't happen for others until later or until baby is born. I haven't had it yet that I've noticed.
Oh good. I just felt like something was wrong! Thank you so much for letting me know! I feel relieved. It isn't much with me either, only happened 3 times and very small amount... so far! I will definitely let my doc know at my next appointment.
Blakesmommy- Thank you for being so open with me. I'm so sorry you've been through so much. I know how uncomfortable you must be feeling but at least your baby is alive and kicking! :) many blessings to you!
chanta21- thank you for being honest with me. Hopefully you won't have to experience this facet of pregnancy!! many blessing to you too!
Yea it's colostrum and is completely normal. With my son I noticed it at 16 weeks. And with this pregnancy nothing yet. I was still nursing my son when I got pregnant, and when my milk dried up I had nothing and I am almost 23 weeks and still nothing. Sometimes it doesn't come out until after baby is born. Every woman is different and it's normal.
Yes it is normal. It is colostrum and it just varies in different women. My first baby I lost at 15 weeks and didn't leak at all. My second, my son, I started leaking that nasty stuff around 30 weeks or so. My third one I lost at 12 weeks so didnt get a chance to leak with that one and this one I started leaking around 18 weeks just a little and now I am 2 days away from 22 weeks and the past three days it looks like my boobies have gone swimming and my bed and clothes are drenched in it when I wake up and such. It just depends. If you feel uncomfortable with it and unsure just call and ask the nurse or ask the Dr. at your next appt. I am sure he/she will just tell you its different in all women. I actually have to go tonight to get me the pads for my bra for that reason so I wouldn't think it is anything to worry about.

This is my third pregnancy and haven't had that happend to me(at least not yet). My milk usually starts coming out once my baby is out and start breast feeding it for the first time. Sorry, not familiar with that. HUGS*~Kelly
