I take Milk of Magnesia all the time.. my dr told me to and they even gave it to me in the hospital.

You can take nonstimulant laxatives like Mild of Mag but you do NOT want to take the stimulant type like Dulcolax and Ex-lax and stuff like that.

I've heard you couldn't take Milk of Magnesia while pregnant. But what do I know? Just ask your doctor, sweetie.

Just try Benefiber! You shouldn't take laxatives while pregnant.

I'm not sure if Dulcolax is ok or not but was going to tell you that my OB recommended Colace, they said that for most of their patients it works the best!!!  Sorry I couldn't answer your question, though!!
