liklihood of being pregnant?

In December, i started my period as usual, on the 14th. In january, i was due to start on the 11th, but didnt. I took some pregnancy tests early, that said negative and saw my doctor on the 15th, i was sure i was pregnant. on the 16th i took a pregnancy test at home at night, and it came back positive! the 17th in the morning i started my period. my doctor sent me for bloodwork but i didnt get it done until the 19th, and havent heard back yet about it. my husband and i decided to start trying to get pregnant, so we have done the deed almost everyday, or at least every other day, the last day we did, was the 31st. i usually am a 28 day cycle girl, and am usually regular, this is the first time i have been late in almost 3 years. in fact i was so regular it was our method of birth control. so i dont know if i could be pregnant, if i am, when would i have conceived, i was supposed to expect my period on the 11th, but it didnt actually come until the 17th, so would i have ovulated on the 31st, maybe before, or not yet? because i do want to be pregnant, but we didnt do the deed yesterday, so should we do it today?

Good luck to you!  I know the waiting can be a little much.  I also tested 9 dpo because I was tired of the waiting and got a faiiiint +.

oh and just food for thought, maybe im getting ahead of myself here, but the 14th, the day i would find out if i am or not, is my daughters 3rd birthday party, not to mention valentines day, it would be a great present. but my whole family will be here, so i want to buy my daughter a white shirt, and write on it in red glitter that says im the big sister on it, so she can open it with her birthday gift, and that is how i want to tell everyone that i am pregnant if i am. im excited, its how i want to tell my husband too. so i will have to get the shirt just in case, and that morning if i test positive, i can wrap it with her gift. am i overly excited? one day i think i definately will be pregnant, then another day i will get myself thinking i am ovulating, so i will think i missed my opportunity for last month, but then i get to thinking no.....even if i ovulated 2 days later than i should have the sperm would still be there........so i talk myself into thinking i am pregnant. just so you all know, i am the most impatient, anxious person you will probably ever talk to. this forum is nice though, cause when you cant talk to family and friends and get them all excited or have them hound you or pressure you, it is nice to talk to other people going through the same thing. =) thanks girls.

hello i just thought id say hi :) mandalynner i know how you feel i was late for my period in oct 08 i was 9 days late did a test at 7 days it was neg :( i finally came on on the 27th of oct so that woul have meant i ovulated around the 10th of nov and af was due 24th of nov but it didnt show up again so i waited and waited but then my boobs was hurting alot and i was tired all the time so i did a test when i was 10 days late seeing as i was 7 before and it was neg x on the 3rd of dec i did my test and it was positvi i was soooooooo happy id been trying for a year (not madly tough) sadly it ended with a miscarrige i was exactly 7 wks :( i had to keep going for blood tests to make sure my hcg lvls had dropped  it took about 2 wks for a preg test to finally come up negative ( i thought how weird i'm actually doing a test i want to be negative ,go figure) so i waited for my next cycle to show i knew it could take some time but luckily i came on , on the 15th of jan so im guessing i ovulated around the 29th of jan so me and my fiance did our homework on the 25th 26th 27th 28th and 29th (i really want a baby) im due on , on the 12th of feb i have 1 week left woo hoo , i keep telling myself im going to wait and see if my af shows up but we'll see i'm not the most patient person , but if i do test i will defo wait till my af date if it doesnt show by 13th i will see best of luck to us ey x baby dust for you :) keep your chin up it will happen when its meant to everything happens for a reason even the **** stuff xxxx
