different feeling in 8 th week

Dear All, I hope to get some consoling words from you all. I am completing my 8 th week today After a couple of positive confirmations with cards and with a doctor. i have a different feeling since the last week.I am felt with kind of small soild lump between my lower abdomen and vagina(not outside,near to vagina,close to the hole of urine passage). Is this the pregnancy ? Or is it something to worry?

next thing is i had a us scan on 10th of this month when i am 7 weeks 2 days..Doctor told me she cud n detect the heart beat and asked me to come on 24th again..This is worrying me the most..Please advise  me..Is there anybody who din have heart beat at 8 th week and got it back sometimes later..

It will depend on the baby.  Sometimes we think we are farther along than we really are.  I would ask to have my HCG levels tested.  Don't give up hope.

It all depends hun, sometimes at 13 weeks it may be too early also...every woman is different...it still can be difficult to find hb at 13 weeks but later on in pregnancy there shouldn't be a problem at all to find the hb as baby gets much larger....hope this helps??

another thing I was going to add is that sometimes at 8 weeks this can be quite early to detect a hb...they couldn't find my lil' guys hb until about 13th week with doppler...so hang in there.

Hi there, I'm from the November forum and just happened to check out some of the topics on this one.  Anyhow, I've had this with this pregnancy actually.  I was 11 weeks and at my appt with my ob/gyn she couldn't detect a hb with a fetal doppler.  This worried me sick so I requested to have an u/s to see if there is a hb.  A few days later I went in for the u/s and yes they detected a hb!  What a relief.  Hang in there.  I'm sure things will be alright.  I just wish for your peace of mind that they would send you in for an u/s sooner.  Can u call and request to have it sooner?  Just trying to help out...Wishing you the best...
