I'm 14 weeks and I've been feeling my baby for the past week- Lower abdomen area- :)
I say go with it. :) I'm almost 14 weeks and I have thought I felt the baby off and on for a week or so, but this morning I drank some orange juice and then I kept feeling that same feeling quite a few times....I'm pretty sure it's the baby. This is my second so I kinda know what I'm looking for...
I think it feels like you know when you get a muscle twitch? Thats how I describe it....but in your tummy! :)
Ya i am almost 19 wks and I am just now feeling "him" move it was kinda like a swimming feeling I thought my stomach was upset and then it keep happening and so now i am sure it's him, ur not sure at first and the same little feelings keep happening and then u know huh? When do u find out what ur having? first of May? may 5th? I am so forgetful now are u? Take care
It's hard to say... but it's possible!! I just looked at your pregnancy tracker thinggy... and you're 15 weeks, so i suppose it's possible! It's more fun to think it was the baby anyway, so even if you aren't sure... just say that's what it was.
I cant wait to start feeling mine move :) Still have a bit to go, just getting over the 12 week mark.
nickieb85 - Is what you've been feeling strong? or just little things? How often? Just wondering because I'm pretty sure I just started feeling my baby last night (and a little today), it's my second.
Hey I am now 15 weeks 1 day and I have been feeling Marley move for a few days (on and off) but she is also my 3rd baby... I think it is definitely possible that you are feeling those first little twitches and wriggles. Believe in what you feel =) Congrats it is a special time in pregnancy.
Where did you feel the movements? At 15 weeks if it was the baby you would feel it lower than your stomach. I'm about as far along as you and have been feeling all kinds of things (but think that just today I MIGHT have felt the baby). Your uturas might be about half way between your pubic bone and belly button, so depending on how high it was it "MIGHT" have been the baby.
Also, wanting to feel the baby move will make you "feel" thinks or think you feel things. Since it's your first (I'm assuming, you didn't say) then you most likely won't feel much until 20 weeks, but that doesn't mean you won't or can't feel anything before that.
At your next dr's apt Ask your dr if they can show you how to feel where your uturas is, that way you'll have an idea of where it is and can rule out any gas that you think could be the baby. My midwife showed me at my last apt (at 13 weeks) and you basically feel a line down below your belly button and look for a "bump". It's hard to explain, but I feel to see where min is every few days.
As for how they feel, at first it's going to be a flutter or gas bubble feeling. You won't feel a lot at first, after a few (or several) weeks you'll start to feel stronger feelings more often.
I am 15 weeks and 2 days so thats why I thought the butterfly feeling was the baby moving. I guess I am so ready to feel the baby move that I am really looking for it. And I am a member of a youth group b/c I am only 19 but I would love to take the role of leader when our leader wants to step down. I am a Nazarine.
How far along are you? The first movements do sorta feel like a twitch or a gas bubble or something. But you'll continue to feel the same type of movement day after day and you'll realize it was the baby. You said you were with your youth group praying. Are you a member of the youth group or youth pastor? What kind of church? My husband and I are youth pastors.
