Backache

Anyone else experiencing like a dull backache? I'm 11 weeks today and have only just started feeling this the last day or two. It's in my lower back and it almost feels like my legs hurt. I've heard that it could be from everything stretching and your pelvis widening!

Yes, back pain in pregnancy is very normal and common.  Sometime in the second trimester hormones in your body start moving around your bones to make your hips wider and make room for the baby to come out.

Ditto.  I have a back ache also, not all the time, but it will be in my lower back, more toward the left and I feel it in my butt.  I had it with ds also and it got worse in the second and third trimester...I did end up going to the chiropractor for it last time so I am trying to stay on top of that this time.  It's fairly common I think!

I've had back pain for a while now.  I've got a desk job and it seems to have gotten worse once I got pregnant.  I've seen a chiropractor once a week and that's helped a lot.

Hey i am right there with you... along with mine my knees are killing me especially on the days that i have to clean and bend. (I also have artheritus though) I think it is pretty normal to have a backache in early pregnancy... hopefully it will get better until about the last tri then it will start all over again =)
