cocacolapanda-Thank you for the chart and the web-site. I was talking to my DH last night and he got pretty excited about the possiblities of twins. Well and a little scared at the same time.
I will definitely keep everyone updated if there's more than one. I go for my first ultrasound on the 23rd.
Oh wow... see, I didn't know that, you learn something new every day!! That is wonderful!! How exciting!!!
I looked at that stuff yesterday, because my numbers were where higher than where I was at (not nearly as high as yours though), and ruled out twins for myself (THANK GOODNESS! I have one VERY active toddler already). Having high numbers is a good thing in general, but with how high your numbers are, you shouldn't rule out the chance of twins yet! I can't wait to hear if you do!
Oooooo, How exciting! Yeah I'd say there's a good chance then, when you see the dr next they may do an ultrasound to check.
Heres the numbers for a single pregnancy:
3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
As you can see your numbers are in the 6 weeks range, since your 4 weeks
Here's for the multiples:

If we have twins that would be so exciting! I know I didn't mis-calculate as I see a feritily specialist and they do ultrasounds often. I was on 100mg clomid last month and I had 3 follicles so twins are a big possibilty.
Is there a chart somewhere that I can look at that tells me what my levels are suppose to be?
Thank you for responsing!
wow, that's great! Those numbers are kinda high for 5 weeks. I had similar numbers at 5 weeks 5 days. Those numbers are for week 6 of being pregnant. If you had those numbers when still in week 4 could you have mis-calculated how far along you are? Is it possible your having twins?
Wait, you mean tomorrow you'll be 5 weeks since AF right? as in the baby is 3 weeks about? (Just want to make sure, it can be confusing sometimes).
I have no idea... but i know that high numbers are good! It means your hormones levels are rising. They don't ALWAYS mean something though, a week before I had my miscarriage, I had the same levels that a woman who was 9 months pregnant would have. I'm not saying that's what's going to happen to you...not at all! I'm just saying, they don't mean a whole lot, except that your body is producing estrogen and your hormone levels are ready for a baby. Usually a GOOD sign!! ;)
