Boy/ Girl Names...

I know that it is so early in our pregnancies that most of us haven't even thought of names LOL! Well since DH and I have been trying for a little over 2 years, we have thought long and hard and we knew before we got pregnant what we were going to name our little one :D I would like some insight on what you ladies think:

Boy--- Dexter Rafe

Girl--- Marley Anne Jade

Thanks I think it is important for me to name the second great grandchild to my grandmother and dh's grandparents for it to have some kind of meaning in the name if she is a girl like we suspect. My mom is Mary Anne and my sis is Fawn Jade so it seems so perfect... I hope I get the chance to use it :)

Wow that is so silly! I don't ever really care about what other people think about anything really but I do value everyone's opinion on all the pregnancy stuff here and that is what the baby is going to be named if it is a boy or girl :) The girl name is all family and the boy is just what we liked :)

I love your daughters name, Aspen. I think it's a really pretty name. I have a friend who named his daughter Aspen Sky. Thought it was such a beautiful name. :)

Nickie- I think that if YOU like a name, then you should go with it. After all, people become their name, no matter what it is. I ran into a girl recently who didn't give her daughter a middle name so that when her daughter got to be old enough, she could give herself her own middle name. Thought that was pretty cool! :)

That's soooo true and when my little baby boy (in 2003) hardly anyone was naming their boys spencer so it was perfect. I don't know anyone with a baby named Dexter or Marley Anne (and yes she is going to have 2 middle names lol) I feel like it is important for us (dh and I) to like the names (which we both do) and I like the names that are less presentable. I love Dexter and I don't think he is going to be a serial killer or anything lol, but it is kind of a tribute to Michael C. Hall due to his surviving cancer but I really do just love the little nerdy names lol.

I LOOOVE the name Spencer and Marley Anne is beautiful as well! You could always just give her two middle names! I love the show Dexter that was what I was thinking of when you said Dexter and that was also the reason I was leery since Im silly and superstitious about that kinda thing. But if you like the name then name him that. I realized my first pregnancy not to care what anyone though since everyone hated the name Aspen. They kept saying, "whats her nickname going to be... A*s*s?" Pfft. I named her it anyways and no one has ever called her anything but her full name or Aspenator and now everyone I encounter just loves her name. Weird the change in 2 years.

LOL i know all about that my name is Nicole but I get called Nickie (I like both but Nickie is preferred)... I am totally in love with Dexter on Showtime and I love the name... so it was an easy choice for us. He'll be called Dex and I know it is kind of a nerdy name but I have a son named Spencer too so... lol. I am really hoping for the a girl though... Marley is another form of Mary (my mom's name and Anne is her middle name and Jade is my oldest sister Fawn's middle name and her little girl is Emma Nicole named after my grandmother and me :) so I figured return the favor to everyone lol)) I love both of the names but I am really stuck on Marley Anne.

Ohhh I like Marley Jade for a girl... I'm not sure how I feel about Dexter though.

We haven't decided what were going to name our baby if its a girl but if it is a boy were going to name him Dax Donavon. His full name will be Maddox since that is what Hubby prefers. I wish he would just let me name him Dax instead of it being the "nickname".
