Gabriel is Here!!
So Gabriel Zechariah Sandoval was born last night, Sept. 23 at 9:58p.m. I'm still at the hospital, busy and exhausted but I will post more of the birth story later....I'm just so excited!!!!! And I will try to put pics up this weekend :-D
So i just realized that i only psted my birth story in the 18-34 forum, sorry ladies!
So ThursdaySept. 23 I went to the hospital around 4pm. They hooked me up to monitors was having contractions about every 5min. Doc finally came in to check me and was 5cm dilated and bag of waters bulging. She decided to break them at 5:15pm and hve me walk around t move things along. By 6pm I had to stop walking because the back contractions really sucked! I can't remember what time it was but I got checked again and was 7cm dilated.
This whole time I been feeling the labor in my back. they had me on my hands and knees with butt in the air and each time i had a contraction hubby pushed down on my tailbone to counter the pain/pressure. All with no epidural. Finally the contractions were right after the other nonstop, doc checked me was 9cm and 100% effaced! Because his face was wrong direction (back-to-back) they had me keep switching positions which sucked because of the back labor...being on my back or side was excruciating! Well, as he turned his cord dropped in front of cervix and each contraction his hr dropped to 40's as he pushed down on the cord trying to come out.
doc said i needed emergency c-section and they gave me shot to slow contractions. So at 9:10pm after 4hrs o hard back labor and making it to the pushing stage nearly...i had to have a c-section and be put under cuz no time for epidural. Gabriel was born at 9:58pm weighing 7lbs 10oz and 20in long. his apgars were 8 and 9

I was just about to say Full Moon baby too! LOL Congratulations, I can't wait to hear the birth story.
Congrats. My contractions started last night and have kept going. They have dilated me from nothing to 1 cm and to 75% effaced since Wednesday. I cant wait to see pics!
