I would say talk with your doctor for advice on quitting smoking. From what I read there are many risk to the baby if you continue to smoke. Good Luck!
I would definitely say that you need discuss this with your doctor also. There are alternative methods to help you quit smoking and things that will be much healthier for you and your baby.
I would call your doctor tomorrow. If you keep smoking it can cause all kinds of problems including: low birth weight, cleft lips, ect.
6 years ago when i was preg witih son i had a hard time quitting...my doctor suggested chewing gum or sucking on a lollipop every time i wanted a cigarette...i agree with the ladies when they say to talk to you doc
i ended up training my brain that every cig tasted nasty and learned quickly that it was mind over matter and i was able to quit....cutting back is the first step...best of luck
I cut down to one cig a day and then quit totally. Being so sick all the time really helped. My Dr. said that patches and gums are better than smoking so you might want to ask you Dr. about that.
Hang in there I know it's hard!!!
Cutting down is a great start! Before i found out i was pregnant i smoked a pack or more a day, now i smoke under 8 a day. My dr said dont quit cold turkey it can cause too much stress..good job on cutting down! I feel aweful smoking too but unfortunitly its so hard!! Hang in there..
