Thankfully, I don't have the fatigue, but i still take naps if I can while my daughter does. If you're tired, it's normal for pregnant women to feel like they have no energy and just want to SLEEP all day!! If you can, then do it. If not, just hang in there.. hopefully it will improve by the second tri.

I have been really tired.  That is always the first symptom I feel.  My AF isn't even due for two more days but I tested this morning because I have been soooo tired.  Sure enough Pos.

DMarie919 - I'm having lots of headaches too!  I get them somewhat frequently to begin with, but lately they've been MUCH worse.  And also, Ladyfish26 has super high hCG levels as well, that's why I mentioned twins.  Haha, I wish my son would sit down, he'll be 2 may 1st and has SO much energy.  He won't watch TV, although sometimes he'll sit on my lab (I'll put the feat up on the recliner so he'll have more room), but he ALWAYS insists sitting on my belly and with the bloating it doesn't feel good!  We watch TV for a little while after I get home, but since DS won't sit we usually watch what we feel like, and it's almost never educational.

snewell - If you spot red you should let your dr know, they may want to see you sooner.  Also, if it ever becomes more than spotting you need to tell your Dr. ASAP.  Spotting/bleeding is common, but it could be a sign of something more serious.  Also, since your just 4 weeks, I heard a lot of people spot when they expect AF, so like week 4, 8, etc.

I just found out I was pregnant 2 days ago. I am 4 weeks and 3 days and I am super tired. That is the only thing I feel so far. Some stomach cramping and a little spotting. I find myself going to bed really early, which is unlike me.

Ok this was my first full day or work after getting the positive test and I could barely stay awake by the end of the day...fell asleep on the couch before dinnertime so I barely just now got the family fed by 730!!  And I know as soon as ds goes to bed I will be also!!!  Anyone else having headaches?

Amy...you hush your mouth about twins and tiredness....if there is two in there I will be shocked!!!  And my son will be 3 in April...luckily after work he has a good attention span to sit and watch something on TV while I rest....I know I hate to have him watch too much tv but I just can't help it...LOL....at least it's educational shows...

I'm very tired, but I just can't sleep, I need to work then look after my toddler when I get home, I go to bed when we put my son to bed.  I'll take naps on the weekends sometimes (If were around and can).  But my son doesn't nap during the day anymore (21 months and refuses to nap) so napping while he naps is impossible.  :(

DH told me that excersize should help people (even pregnant women) sleep better, get more quality sleep.  I've kinda started it, hasn't worked yet.

Also, if you are carrying twins, you will be extra tired!

I haven't had this and I'm most definitely not the napping type. I do notice that about 7pm I get very tired though...where my eyes start to feel heavy.

I just realized we are only two days apart!  And yes...I am tired also...not to the extreme that you seem to be, but I remember when i was pg. with ds i was really tired more so in the later part of the first trimester....  hang in there...get your rest..it will get better!!
