Still getting ovulation symptoms?

Ok so I was told this would lay off during your second trimester.
What's happening is I still get acne during the time that I would really be ovulating if I weren't pregnant. That was always my tell-tale symptom of ovulation along with the pains I was getting. So I STILL am getting this acne flare up!!
Does this happen to anyone still? It drives me crazy!!

Isn't it insane how one part of your body (your face) is SO oily, yet the rest is so dry!  Same thing happened with my first, and I really don't break out much at all.  I seem to get more pimples during pregnancy than I did in puberty!

Oh my....I hope it's normal because I'm the EXACT same way...my face is definitely glowing like fried chicken!! LOL and I have to lotion everything else up!! I've been using baby oil on my legs because they have been the worst.

Goodness I am glad that I am not the only one getting the acne problem!!!! I have broken out and I have always had really clear skin (especially when I was pregnant with both of my boys) and this time around it is awful!!!!! Since I have PCOS I don't have a regular O time or AF time (its been so long I can't remember) but I really have never had regular acne even when my cycles were normal =) I do have the discharge and from what I have read it is just the va jj keeping itself clean from infection and can vary in amounts. It is starting to get hot here and that really just makes it worse =)

I only noticed last night that I have started to have a discharge down there. It freaked me out, because I thought I was bleeding! It isn't around O time, its around AF time.
I have been getting acne off and on, I havent been tracking it to see if it happens around O time or AF time.

DMarie919 - I get the discharge too, but for me it's all the time (along with breaking out).  Ugh the last two days I've broken out like crazy, and my face is really oily, yet the rest of my skin (hands and legs, etc) are SO dry.

It's normal to have oily face (that's the "glow" they talk about pregnant women having) and that "glow" is also what causes women to break out.  Also, in pregnancy you gain extra of most of the fluids (like discharge, spit, and what not).

I have been having discharge like ovulation but I've not tried to figure out if it would be around my normal O time or not...hmm...I guess it's close..the month I got pregnant I ovulated on the 24th I believe....so maybe that's why....and I"ll have to monitor the acne....because maybe it is around that time and I just attributed it to the pregnancy in general...

For me the acne didn't start until about 10-11 weeks.  Even with my first pregnancy the acne started about the same time and didn't end till the middle of the third trimester.  I'm almost 16 weeks and I still have most of my pregnancy symptoms that started at 6 weeks.

Even though symptoms "should" go away around the second trimester many women find that they either don't have them, or they last much longer (for my mom she had horrible morning sickness for all 9 months of both of her pregnancies).

Good luck, I hope it tapers down soon for you!
