Stitch/Pain in side

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing that kind of pain you get in your side if you run or over exert yourself. I get it after walking for not even very long distances. Not sure what to do when it happens. Is it just stretching. It's obviously muscle pain but it's making walking a pain the the you know what.

Thanks, I just took a nice long walk this evening and got it at first and walked through it for a bit and it actually went away on it's own! I think just starting out and moving more just made it stretch a bit extra for that little bit. I feel soooo much better after having a good walk though! I've been extra lazy the last month!

Another thing I just thougth of, you can always just rub the area with your hand until it feels better, I do that when I'm moving around more and it seems to help.

Ok...I feel better that I'm not the only one. And yes....moving around in bed makes it happen too. It's just weird how when I'm walking a lot it happens...it's not fun...especially when I want to get some exercise in there every once in a while! Maybe just some minor warm up stretches will help or something...really things are going to be stretching a lot more in the next few weeks so you'd think I'd be used to it by now!!

I agree its muscle stretching. I get it sometimes even when I sneeze. It feels like something pulls.

I've gotten that with both my son and this one.  I also feel it when I roll out of bed sometimes, If I roll wrong it happens too :(  I agree I too think it's from muscle stretching.
