Stomach aches

In late July we went on vacation, okay'd by my doctor. While I was on vacation I think we all ate something bad because we all got sick with (sorry tmi) diarrhea. When I got back I was still sick and went to my doctors office. He prescribed some medicine and it seem to get better but ever since I have had this pain in my stomach as if I'm getting it again. It never really went away, it just seemed to feel better. Now I keep getting this pain but no diarrhea. I've felt like this for a couple of days. Do you think it could still be the same thing I got on my vacation?

It could be braxton hicks contractions. During the end of pregnancy your body starts having more bowel movements to clean out your system so that it less crowded in there when you give birth. I've kinda been having the same thing happen this past week but I only have pain before not after. If you are cramping and they aren't lessening I would go to L&D and make sure they aren't real contractions and that something isn't wrong. I can only imagine how horrible it would feel to get a stomach bug at the end of pregnancy. I had the stomach flu for 24 hours at like 24 weeks and I still think it might have been worse than last time I actually gave birth. :(

I don't know how to explain. It's wierd. I guess you can say it's pain like food sickness. I get it like accross the middle of my belly and feel as if I have to use the restroom. When I get that I go to the restroom and have a bm, but I don't have diarrhea. It's just the pain that bothers me.

Pain like food sickness? I'm not really sure how to answer the question since you didn't describe where or how the pain makes you feel.
