Too Early for Braxton Hicks??

I think I'm starting to have Braxton Hicks contractions now... but isn't it a little early for them?? I'm 25 weeks now. I feel like a weird pressure and my stomach gets hard but only one spot, almost like the baby is pushing his head up against one side of my stomach... is that probably what I'm experiencing???

Thank you everyone. Mine are not painful at all... they just feel weird. They never hurt with my daughter either...
But glad to know you girls are all having them as well... Thanks!

Yeah I've been having them happen for a couple weeks now. I never really noticed it with my first baby but this pregnancy I notice them all the time and boy do they HURT! Ugh. My doctor said that second time moms always complain of pain more for some reason and that a lot more second time moms go to the hospital thinking that something is wrong than first time moms. Weird right.

I have been having them for the last month now. It's normal to have braxton hicks contractions... most women have them throughout their pregnancy. Sometimes I get them very painfully and once they were about every 3 minutes for about 45 minutes. I just walked around and they slowly went away. Some could be baby, but contractions are 100% normal and SHOULD be happening now... that uterus has to get ready!

I will be 25 weeks on Thursday and at 23 weeks I was having them. The Dr put me on medication because I was having too many contractions. Ask your doctor about it if you are having more than 6 an hour for 2 hours straight.
