I think if you are this far along you SURELY would have seen two obvious babies in there... by 22 weeks babies weigh at LEAST a pound, so there would be no mistaking two. I saw your first sonogram picture and the shadow, to me, looked like the yolk sac. I have a similar picture where there is a floating "ghost" that could easily be mistaken for another baby. As for the double umbilical cord, in my own personal opinion it's just the one babies cord doubled over. Their cords can be very long and it's probably just doubled over.
I could be very wrong, but I imagine there's just one healthy baby in there! I'd sure be impressed if your tiny little bump had 2 babies and two amniotic sacs hidden away in there!
that i dont know, its kind of weird. by the way, very nice pic, he look really cute!
have you told this to your DR????
I was actually going to say it looks like an arm and the cord.
i paid for this one but i think i might do another.......thers no way i could wait till oct. i agree about mothers intuition. i knew when i was getting my blood drawn for my first appt my hcg levels would be high didnt know why turn to find out they were and i knew and feel strongly about the twin thing.........no its def an umbilcal cord FRESHLOVE i took these pics off my video and on the video you can see them pulsating and that they are def cords
It could be the shadow of the baby's arm...like his/her hand is up by the head or something
Maybe you could pay to have a 3D ultrasound done if you don't get any more elective u/s's. Or else I guess you just have to wait until October :(
Maybe there is really two in there, they say a Mothers intuition is very powerful; I was right about the sex of my lil one!
only a video but it was through an elective ultrasound and so there not allowed to tell me that.....and also through my first ultrasound at 9 weeks
I just read an older post about you thinking you might be having twins, is this one of the pics that make you think you are? If you are having twins did you have any pics where you saw a second baby?
The umbilical cord is long, it's possible that it's just snaked around. Did your dr point it out? Does he/she think there are two or it's just the same one?
