Contractions have died off, But menstrual cramping increasing..

in the last 48 hours, my contractions have really died off.. I dont think I had any yesterday and only a couple the day before... But the last two nights, the menstrual cramping feeling has gotten increasing stronger.. it is still off and on, but coming more frequently... Last night, it kept me up several times and I had to breathe through a couple incidents..

What could this be?

I do think it is normal, but of course if you start noticing that you have trouble with even speaking through them and they are coming closer together then you might be having actual labor.

Mine are waking me up at night but this is normal for me the closer we get.  These contractions help my cervix thin and get us all prepped up for delivery.  Not long now, Keep us posted :D

Yeah I had it before, starting regularly around 34 weeks but I had some off and On around 31-32 weeks too...  But I think I just started getting concerned about because the last couple days, it is getting alot worst... which I guess would make sense as the baby grows...

I justh ad my appointment this week and I didnt mention it.. I didnt think of it, my doctor is in the state now where its like when you go into labor, you go into labor .. thankfully im 36 weeks tomorrow (i still cant believe it)...  My next appointment is at 37 weeks so..

I had some cramping like this when I wasi nt he hospital at 31 weeks but it wasnt as intense or as much.. SO i mentioned it to my doctor then and since I was already identified as being at risk for preterm labor, she was just having me monitor my contractions and waiting for my next weeks scan to see if there was cervix change..

i have read about acouple others having it so i know its normal, I think Im jst putting thought into now that its increasing

I posted about this a few days ago. I have it as well and I was told it's normal at this stage. Mine isn't super painful it's just uncomfortable and noticeable. Sorry I know I'm no help but just wanted to let you know you're not alone! I think it's common at this point but definitely keep an eye on it and always report it to your Dr. Do you have an appt. soon? I just had one and completely forgot to mention it :(
