Third trimester!

I'm not sure when it starts if it's 27 w 1 day or 28 weeks, but at any rate I'm almost there! I saw my ob today and she said we'll probably have our little guy in about 10 weeks and I hope not sooner.

It's time for nesting and preperations. I had to go to the store for our weekly trip and while I was there I picked up travel items for my hospital bag. I just figured what the heck might as well cross this off my to do list. I have a few more things to pick up and then have to wash and organize all his clothes and pack my bag. I figure I'll wait another 5 weeks before I worry about it. I like to get everything done early since I have a track record of being on bedrest after 33 weeks.

So it looks like I probably won't be an October mom afterall, but hey you never know. I might stand on my head the last few weeks and hold out for Oct 1st ;-)

lol PetiteWonder you and me both, I was up last night tossing and turning and eventually just through-up the acid in my stomach.  I made the mistake of eating jalapeño poppers last night and they were about to kill me hours later.

oh how cute, I love hearing all of this.  It let's me know I'm not crazy! lol

I just hit the 26 week mark on Sunday so I am excited to be entering the 3rd trimester.  I bought my 3rd trimester supplies and goodies this weekend.  Are any of you taking certain supplements at the last trimester to help with labor?  I picked up some Vitamin K tincture I was reading about if you have issues with bleeding afterwards to take a supplement about at the 34th week mark to get it into your system.

I bought some chux pads for the initial start of labor so I can have those.  Our first child I broke my water while I was sleeping, so I am so glad I had a waterproof kiddie pad put under the sheet.  I got some tucks witch hazel pads, mesh hospital panties (never have enough of those), boogie getters (those blue syringe things to get the boogers out of your little ones nose), and a few other things.

I started packing my bag I know it's early, but I've got the nesting bug! I also plan on washing his clothes and blankets this weekend so I can start putting them away.

I told my dh to enjoy the nesting because it's probably the last time I'll have a chance to clean the house for the next year ;-)

At 27 weeks! So third trimester for me too. It feels like its gone by so fast.

lol wow NicMom I am only about 2 weeks behind you, congratulations on making it to the 3rd trimester.  I am so looking forward to this as well.
