so i just peed a little

I'm 10 weeks pregnant and I currently have a cold.  Every time I cough, sneeze, or vomit I wet my pants. This is my second pregnancy and I don't remember it being like this before.  Does this happen to anyone else?

NicMom thank you for mentioning kegels, gosh I need to do those again, I think it really helped with labor with my first and then with my 2nd I got lazy.  It seems like with each birth it gets a little looser down there and yeah you can sneeze and bam instantly have to close your legs.  expectingandhopeful you are not alone!  Especially when the baby is so low and close to bladder and using it for a trampoline :D

Anyone have any tips or pointers on Kegels...when do you do it, what's the best resource that you have used for instructions on doing them?  I really need to get going on this too, so this is a good reminder.

Well that's good to know I'm not alone in this boat :-) I am pregnant with twina and I have to sit on the toilet every time I throw up because I keep peeing on myself without any control. It's frustrating and I hope it goes away after the pregnancy! Best of luck to all the mommies <3

I had to chuckle when I read this because I remember doing that with my last pregnancy. It's a good reminder for all of us to do our kegels!

Yes that can definitely happen with your second or higher pregnancy. Doing kegels might help strengthen those muscles in your pelvic floor and prevent it, but from my experience once you get farther along there isn't much you can do.
