uterus tear

We went to the OB today for an U/S and they discovered a small uterus tear near the bootom of my uterus and now I have to be monitored a week from today at my U/S appt again.
Has this happened to anyone else?
There doesnt seem to be alot on Google about it except for uterus rupture and that seems extreme to me.
I am 11 weeks with twins first pregnancy and I am trying to be calm and not freak out about it.

If I were you, as a precaution I would take it as easy as possible.

I am really sorry youre having to go through this. When you dream about being pregnant you never really imagine these things happening. I will be praying for you and your two little blessings :)

when are you due?

Im not on bed rest but I didnt see the DR after the U/S.
They detected the tear on the ultrasound and measured it and took a ton of pics. I have to say I am def on edge I have been through a ton to get here and the thought of it being taken away is unbearable to me.

How did they determine it was a uterine tear? Did they see a collection of blood in there or can they see a tear on ultrasound?

Im just curious bc I have blood in my uterus (Im 12 weeks but only one baby) They said I had a collection of blood behind the placenta, and diagnosed a partial placental abruption.

This must be very scary for you!! Are you on bedrest?
