12weeks and scared

I'm 12weeksI as of today.  Friday that is. I stared spotting just a few hours ago. Like a brownish color.  I'm so worried and scared. I can't help but to cry. My question is this is normal?  Have any of you ladies had this problem and been ok. I'm going to the doctors first thing in the morning or even to the er if it gets worse tonight but I guess I just need to hear from you all and see if this is normal.  I have 3to kids and not once in any of those pregnancies did I spot. Just once and that ended up being a miscarriage.  I'm very scared. Don't wanna loose my baby. Any suggestions on what I should do? It's not heavy. Just a light spotting and is dark in color.

I'm going today because it's driving me nuts. How would I know if it's a miscarriage?  I'm not cramping at all. And thank you ladies

I just had brown spotting for 2 days and my baby is completely healthy :) as long as there aren't bad cramps or red blood you should be fine. But if it gets heavier or doesn't stop after a few days ask your doc.

Ive heard that some spotting could be normal. Ive had two miscarriages and if I remember correctly I spotted bright red blood. If it gets worse or you start cramping also, please go to the doc. Wishing you the best.
