bleeding at ten weeks

Had anyone else had red bleeding at ten weeks? I'm due October eighth and I have am appointment on Tuesday but I just started bleeding and I'm panicking. I know it's irrational because bleeding doesn't always indicate a problem but I never bled in my first pregnancy until further along.

Su my last ultrasound they said I had a small pocket of blood outside the fluid sac that apparently is quite common. Most women aren't aware they have it as your body reabsorbs the blood. But my midwife says that was probably the cause of my spotting.

Consider asking if you have a cyst in your uterus that may be causing the problem. I have a large one and the dr said that I may see some bleeding because of it. He said the hormones in pregnancy can cause cysts to respond either to grow or shrink or be unimpacted. The good news was that though the cysts can become irritatef, generally there is no cause to worry. So do ask to have them check through ultrasound if this is a possible diagnoses.
Also, call your dr. they have professional staff that is there to help you. They can inform you to either not worry, steps to take, or resources to help you. All the best!!!

Thank you! I had some serious cramping yesterday too but it's been better today. Logically I know there are hundreds of harmless reasons for bleeding but I can't believe logic when I'm panicking. I have an ultrasound Tuesday... hopefully that will put my mind at ease.

I've been told as long as it's lighter than a normal period for you, then it's probably fine.  I'd try to go see a doc if it doesn't stop in 24 hours though.
*hugs* I hope everything is okay!
