im going to hear the heart beat at 9weeks. im waiting at least until then, but may decide to wait til 12 once ive already gotten that far, the dad our parents and our closest friends already know. as of a week ago (5.5 weeks)
I am going to make the announcement at easter. Perfect easter present for my parents since this is their first grandchild.
We saw the heart beat for the first time at 6weeks 6 days and we go back again on the 17th. I will be 10weeks and 6 days. If everything goes well then, we plan on telling everyone. It's our first so we are just too excited to keep it a secret. Plus I feel that people don't talk about miscarriages enough. It is a very serious reality that happens a lot more often then people talk about, so if something bad does happen, we feel we would want the support.
I'm announcing on April 1st, I'll be 13 weeks then. It's also April fools day and my dad's birthday. Grandpa once it announced then cause he think this will be his grandson.
I'm waiting till my 12 weeks are up. I got 3 weeks left
We've told our families at 5 weeks and a best friend each. Everyone of those people know of our previous struggles and we will need support no matter the outcome. Other friends and family will wait until 10 weeks and we will filter it out slowly....everyone else will wait until 12 weeks+
We're announcing at our wedding! Telling closr family and friends sooner. I'll be 4 mo then
I am waiting for 12 weeks - with the exception of 3 close friends who knew about our difficulties conceiving and are going through or experienced the same issues. I'm just over 7 weeks and we saw and heart baby's heartbeat last week, everything looks good, but it took two year's to get here and I just turned 38 so I'm still no comfortable announcing. It's hard not to tell our families at least, but the only people I'd want to share news of a miscarriage with are my close friends, so that's set the standard. Just had to fake my way through a family party toting around a mostly empty glass of wine that I never actually drank - sharpening my acting skills!
I would wait until you are out of the woods, which is about 12 weeks
I announced pretty much immediately.
I had a miscarriage last year and it killed me that my angel baby isn't known by many. I wanted to announce as soon as possible. I've received an overwhelming amount of love and support from friends.
Same with me, I had a miscarraige 5 months ago so I will wait until 12 weeks or so
I'm waiting until I hear my little one's heartbeat. I announced last year before I heard a heart beat n had a miscarriage, so this time I'm being more reluctant
