Breast tenderness

Hi. I think I'm about 4 weeks pregnant. Just waiting for blood to confirm. My breasts are already starting to hurt less. Is this normal? I have been struggling to conceive and I am so nervous that this might be a bad sign.

It's normal for symptoms to fluctuate - mine were strongest so far during weeks 4 and 5 (sore boobs, increased urination, cramps, bloating, pressure bearing down, etc) but now that I'm in week 6 they're significantly lighter. I think your body initially has some trouble adjusting to all the new hormones, but then things settle down into an equilibrium. I'm in the same spot - took 2 years and multiple IUIs to conceive. It's normal to be nervous in any case, but just try to relax and enjoy the respite from symptoms (isn't it weird how comforting the discomfort is?) - I'm sure there will be plenty more to come! :)
