Cleaning/laundry concerns

I am currently 22 weeks pregnant. I have suffered from contamination ocd for the majority of my life. I am very weird about laundry especially towels and sheets. I know that I use too much bleach and don't have a dispenser so it doesn't dispense evenly....its all in the beginning...I generally pour the bleach for a five count into the machine....I am working on not using as much but am concerned that the amount I have used thus far could have caused damage to my baby. I can still smell the bleach on my sheets and towels (even feel it wiping off after a shower sometimes) once they have gone through the dryer cycle? I do always go get fresh air if I feel like I have inhaled it in the process....but am so worried I have hurt him by inhaling it while doing laundry or after while using the products cleaned with bleach. Any thoughts/advice?

I use vinegar as well and love it. I add a few drops of orange essential oil and my laundry smells great.

I've been dropping my laundry off and paying someone to do it for me. You can ask them to use bleach if you want. It's honestly been a god send. Most of the time my hubby is the one to drop it off and pick it up. Also, try checking out the organic and all natural cleaning supplies. Some of them are pretty reasonably priced. I hope this helped.

I have some anxiety and ocd disorders. Not going to go into detail. But my therapist has helped a lot through all of my pregnancies. You could switch to vinegar. It is less toxic, and still cleans just as well. I now use it for my laundry, dishwasher, as a spray cleaner, and to mop with. Do some research on it and see if that helps. It won't smell bad after it dries either. So it doesn't linger in your laundry or when cleaning surfaces.
