Hey ladies i know its a little early but was wondering if anyone had any cute ideas for a girl baby shower such as themes, food, etc??? ;) <3

I think if you did it in the summer, a mermaid theme would be cute. Purple, aqua and turqouise colors. Or you could do a luau theme, have those Lai necklaces, some ham and pineapple shish kabobs, punch, a fruit bar. Maybe brisket or something. Then your husband/boyfriend can be there with his friends. Let the kids all play in the sprinkler while you and the moms open presents and play games. The guys can bring diapers and do a raffle for some manly gift basket.

The church I attend normally just does cake and finger foods for showers. My sister in law discussed throwing one for my husbands side of the family because they live off she normally does bbq a d stuff like that for any summer event. My mom discussed having one for her family because she has eight brother and two sisters and they all have kids and grandkids so it's normally crazy trying to get them all somewhere like church. My mom normally does food she can make in bulk such as cocktail winnies and chips and dips.

We did country princess for my 7 month old. With this one we aren't doing a baby shower. We are throwing a bbq for my 7 month olds 1st birthday and if people want to bring gifts for the new baby they can. They will be exactly 13 months apart if this baby is born on its due date

I'm going with a monsters inc theme.. with the title of "We created a monster" purple.. green.. turquoise All very neutral colors.. so I can plan now even tho we are not know the sex for another week
