Glucose tolerance test

Anyone in the UK know how these are done?? Is it just a blood test or..?
I haven't had my midwife mention glucose anything but alot of women on here are talking about it??

Its all to do with bmi because i was a couple points over normal bmi i have to have it done. It goes on risks. Bmi. Whether its in your family etc.. x

Oh ok, thank you! So surely my midwife should have mentioned this by now and given me the forms for bloodworm etc?? :/

Hi i have had mine recently. Fasted for 12 hours. Went to hospital had a bloodtest. Drank a sugary drink they supply then you have to sit in waiting room for 2 hours and have a second blood test. The wait is the worst part x
