It is VERY painful when it is inserted but I loved it when I had it. I have the liletta now only because my obgyns office doesnt stock mirenas at the office.

I got it, and I love it. It hurts so bad when it's inserted. Make sure you take Tylenol before going in and don't plan anything after for the day because you get contractions. Then after a day, you feel normal again, with slight cramps. After a few weeks, no more cramps usually. There is a little bit of bleeding after and there's also spotting for a while. But I've had no real period because of it. I only had 1 period since giving birth, and that was like 2 days after my postpartum bleeding ended.
