Hip/back pain

ive started losing part of my mucus plug yesterday and all last night and this my lower back and hips have been hurting. Is this normal?

Yes it's normal.. but no need to do anything.. you still just wait for the actual signs of labor. The 3 to 5 min contractions,  heavy bleading (not bloody show) or water breaking. Contractions need to be painful

You're getting closer to delivering the baby. I was just reading about 7 signs you're getting closer and that was two of them. I'm 3 cm dilated and I started losing my mucus plug too. If you start having contractions in your lower back more frequently then it would be a time to see if you have to go in.
