I just have to say.....
I'm completely in love with my chunky mama!!! It's been 3 weeks and she's just perfect!! All the body pains and now the sleepless nights is well worth it. I would do it millions of times over again!! She's just so beautiful and I had to tell everyone.. :) I'm sure you all feel the same!
Van818, I'm almost back to my pre pregnancy weight too! It's amazing how fast your body bounces back whenot breastfeeding! I am feeling back to normal too emotionally as well. With breastfeeding though, this week I just started finally feeling better just one day about how sore I was, hopefully you get there soon too. I get times of soreness, but not nearly as bad as when I first started. It's actually enjoyable the times for feeding now. And my girl is eating every 3 hours during the day and 6 hours in between at night, so we actually get sleep now.
My perfect little boy is now 12 days old. It's such a wonderful time...I can hardly let him out of my arms. I don't mind how often he wants to feed and I'm happy to put up with the toe-curling pain of breast feeding. Motherhood is really wonderful. I'm so glad pregnancy is over...I finally feel myself again. Those pregnancy hormones are horrible. I'm also glad to have de-flated and lost 14kg (28lb) already... only another 7kg (14lb) to get to pre-pregnancy weight.
I hate thinking my little girl is growing up. I can't even watch shows with women in labor now because I just cry thinking I was there almost 3 weeks ago. This is my first baby too. I don't want my little girl to grow up at all. I love her this little. The sleeping in few hour increments don't bother me at all either.
Ikr she's my 3rd and I so don't want her to grow up I hate just thinking of any of them growing up...
Trust me, I feel the same. I'm obsessed with my girl. She's almost 3 weeks old. Where has the time gone?!
