So my dr doesn't do gender ultrasounds. She does 20 week anatomy scan, and if you don't find  out at that one you have to wait until 34-36 weeks. With my son they asked me if I wanted to look at 16 weeks and I found out then. So I did some online shopping and found a place in the Woodlands area that does it out of pocket!! My appointment is May 9th!! So I hopefully will know for Mothers day!! I was just shocked that she wouldn't let me pay out of pocket there. You would think they would want to make the extra money. So the 2 week countdown begins!!

I can't wait until 20 weeks either. That's 5 weeks for me, no way! I hope I'm having another boy too! I am tired of arguing over baby names. We need to know the gender so we can focus that gender!!

Your welcome! They say online you have to have a dr consent, but when I called she said you only have to show some type of proof of prenatal care. A previous ultrasound, blood work confirmation, recipe from and appointment. I'm using my confirmation ultrasound.

Not trying to be nosy, but are you referring to woodlands, tx? Because my doctor is the same way and I'm so ready to know the sex that I would pay out of pocket

I know same here. Ours is scheduled for a Saturday, so he gets to come and our 2 year old! And it's out of town, so I get to go shopping for a couple of outfits for him/her! I just want to know already! I'm so impatient. I wish I could just buy/rent an ultrasound machine like you can a heart doppler lol

Awwww...I think i may do a 3D session also at the peekaboo place here in town. My husband works all day so he nvr gets to go to any ultrasounds so itll be a nice suprise for him on a saturday :D

Yes ma'am! They said 17 weeks will still be pretty small so the whole thing won't be 3d, just a peek at his/her face. But they give you a CD with all the photos, and a DVD of the whole session! So I'm excited!

Some doctors are picky and dont like going outside of set dates they have i guess. Its rather annoying lol. I have my anatomy scan may 21st. Ill be 18 weeks so will will most likely find out the gender. Are u going to a 3D place? Those are so fun. :)
